I'm sure each family that celebrates thanksgiving has their own recipe , this is my humble and simplest version . This is just in time for the coming holiday season . It is not only great with turkey, but also chicken, fish and even tofu . I just tried it with tofu this past week and it was DA BOMB!!!. I am aware that using the seasoning packages is not the healthiest option, but it is the puertorrican way. Having said that, I hope you can enjoy this recipe and have an amazing holiday season with your loved ones ;)
Appropriate for a 10-12 lb. turkey
1/4 CUP ANNATO OIL
2 PQTS. BADIA SAZON
WITH NO MSG
2 TBLSPS. DRIED OREGANO
2 TBLSPS. PINK HIMALAYAN SALT
ANNATO OIL :
1 CUP OF OIL (PREFERABLY GRAPE SEED )
3 TBLSPS. ANNATO SEEDS
PUT SEEDS AND OIL IN A SMALL SAUCEPAN ON LOW HEAT; STIRRING CONSTANTLY , UNTIL THE OIL TURNS A BRIGHT RED ORANGE. AFTER THE COLOR CHANGE, LET COOL FOR 10 MIN . THEN STRAIN THROUGH A MESH SIEVE , REMOVING THE SEEDS. YOU CAN STORE IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER TO USE WHEN NEEDED.

2. IN A BOWL , MIX ALL TOGETHER.
3. YOUR'E READY TO SEASON ALL KINDS OF MEAT
