Corn meal fritters . They are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, filled with melted cheddar cheese. They are great for a snack or anytime of the day . At the end of the gallery ,  you can find a bonus recipe for the dipping sauce ;)

MAKES ABOUT 3 DOZEN
INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS

2 3/4 CUPS                              CORN MEAL

4 1/2 CUPS                               WATER 

 

2 CUPS                                     GOUDA CHEESE 

 

8 ONZ.                                      CHEDDAR CHEESE 

 

4 TBLSPS.                                 ERYTHRITOL (SUGAR)

1 1/2 TSPS.                                 PINK HIMALAYAN SALT 

​

 2 CUPS                                     OF OIL FOR FRYING

​

​

            * PARCHMENT PAPER FOR FREEZING *

1. PREPARE AND ORGANIZE THE INGREDIENTS. 

​

2. SHREED THE GOUDA CHEESE . 

​

3. CUT THE CHEDDAR CHEESE IN STICKS(ABOUT 36).

​

4. PUT WATER TO BOIL 

​

5. WHEN BOILING ADD THE SALT , SUGAR AND THE SHREDDED GOUDA CHEESE. 

​

6. WHISK THE CHEESE UNTIL IS MELTED AND DISSOLVED IN THE WATER .

​

7. THEN ADD THE CORN FLOUR AND STIR. REMOVE FROM THE HEAT WHEN IT BECOMES AND UNIFORM DOUGH. 

​

8. LET COOL FOR 15-20 MINUTES UNTIL IS MANAGEABLE TO SHAPE WITH HANDS.

 

9. FILL A BOWL WITH WATER TO HELP YOU WITH THE DOUGH, SO IT DOESN'T STICK . 

 

10. TAKE ABOUT TWO HEAPING TABLESPOONS OF THE DOUGH AND MAKE A CIRCLE THEN FLATTEN IT DOWN ON THE PALM OF YOUR HAND . USE THE WATER TO MOLD

11. PUT A PIECE OF CHEESE IN THE MIDDLE AND THEN CLOSE THE CIRCLE FORMING AN OBLONG SHAPE WITH THE HANDS. USE THE WATER TO SMOOTH THE DOGH MAKING SURE THERE ARE NO CRACKS .

12. HEAT A PAN WITH THE OIL AT HIGHT HEAT . FRY FOR 3-5 MIN ON EACH SIDE. THEN ENJOY WITH THE DIPPING SAUCE ;)

13. THE ONES YOUR NOT FRYING . INVOLVE IN THE PARCHMENT PAPER AND FREEZE .
