These crunchy and crispy snacks are super addictive and way better than a potato chip 

INGREDIENTS 

INSTRUCTIONS

1                        PLANTAIN

1/2 TSP.          GARLIC POWDER 

 

1/2 TSP.          HIMALAYAN PINK SALT

1 1/2 CUPS.   GRAPESEED OIL FOR FRYING 

1.  PEEL THE PLANTAIN 

 

2. USE A MANDOLIN TO SLICE IN THIN DISKS . (IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE IT CAN BE TOTALLY DONE BY SLICING AS THINLY AS YOU CAN WITH A KNIFE )

 

3. HEAT THE OIL IN A PAN AT MEDIUM HIGH HEAT . 

 

4. CAREFULLY DROP IN OIL IN BATCHES WITHOUT OVERCROWDING THE PAN . 

 

5. TURN ONCE THEY START CHANGING COLOR FROM PALE TO GOLDEN . 

 

6. AFTER GOLDEN ON BOTH SIDES, REMOVE FROM THE PAN AND PUT IN PAPER TOWEL .

 

7. IMEDIATELY SPRINKLE WITH SALT AND THE GARLIC POWDER.
