turkish white bean salad

This is a refreshing and filling dish. No stove required , so that is a plus :) :) . It can also be made ahead of time . It is full of nutrients like vitamin C, potassium , folate, vitamin K, thymol , gallic acid , carvacrol , quercetin and magnesium. It is great as mezze or side dish to a turkish meal , but it can be enjoyed with lettuce or even tortilla chips. I hope you can enjoy making this simple and delicious recipe with loved ones ;)

INGREDIENTS 
INSTRUCTIONS

2 - 15 ONZ CANS       WHITE BEANS

                                          (WASHED & DRAINED)

​

1/3 CUP                          SLICED RED ONIONS

​

1/3 CUP                          SLICED YELLOW ONIONS

​

2/3 CUP                         SLICED ROASTED

                                          RED PEPPERS

​

1/2 CUP                          FRESHLY SQUEEZED

                                          LEMON JUICE

​

1/2 CUP                         SLICED TOMATO

​

1/2 CUP                         EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL 

​

1/3 CUP                         CHOPPED PARSLEY 

​

3 TBLSP.                        SLICED KALAMATA OLIVES

​

1 1/2 TSPS.                     PINK HIMALAYAN SALT 

 

2 TSPS.                           ZA'ATAR

1 TBLSP.                        SUMAC 

1. CUT AND PREPARE ALL INGREDIENTS 

​

2. PUT OLIVE OIL IN A JAR OR BOWL WITH LID , THEN ADD THE ZA'ATAR, SUMAC, SALT AND LEMON JUICE. CLOSE THE LID AND SHAKE UNTIL IT'S WELL COMBINED, THEN SET ASIDE. YOU WILL NOTICE IT IS WELL MIXED, BECAUSE IT WILL CHANGE COLLOR AND APPEAR THICKER.

3. TO THE WHITE BEANS BOWL, ADD THE ONIONS, TOMATO, OLIVES, PARSLEY AND MIX .

4. THEN ADD THE VINAIGRETTE  AND MIX UNTIL WELL COMBINED. 

​

5. MARINATE IN THE FRIDGE FOR 30 MIN TO ONE HOUR. ONCE IT IS IN THE SERVING PLATTER OF YOUR CHOICE; ADD THE ROASTED RED PEPPERS ON TOP AND ENJOY ;) .
