lemon & berries tart

Here is another easy summer dessert that can seem complicated to make but it is easy . Sometimes it's wise to take help from the store and not have to make everything from scratch. Specially when feeding a crowd, participating in a potluck or just visiting someones house and not going empty handed. A variation of this recipe could be buying bavarian cream instead of lemon curd and it would be a berries and cream tart. You could also use different fruits or not as many berries. Possibilities are up to you :) I hope you give this recipe a try ;)

1. CUT AND PREPARE ALL INGREDIENTS.

2. WITH A PIZZA CUTTER , CUT 1/3 OF THE DOUGH , SINCE IT NATURALLY COMES DIVIDED IN THREE.

3. TAKE THE 1/3 OF DOUGH AND DIVIDE IT IN FOUR EQUAL PIECES. THIS WILL BE THE CORNERS AND SIDES OF THE TART.

4. BRUSH THE BEATEN EGG AROUND ALL CORNERS.

5. PLACE THE STRIPS OF DOUGH ON EACH SIDE OF THE SQUARE; TRYING NOT TO OVERLAP THE DOUGH. TRIM THE ECXESS DOUGH.

6. WITH A FORK POKE THE INSIDE OF THE SQUARE TO PREVENT ECXESS RISING WHEN BAKING .

7. BRUSH ALL THE DOUGH WITH THE EGG WASH.

8. IN A PRE- HEATED OVEN TO 350 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT BAKE FOR 25 - 30 MIN . THE MIDDLE OF THE DOUGH WILL SITLL RISE A BIT AND THAT IS PERFECTLY OK. AFTER BAKING YOU CAN JUST FLATTEN IT WITH THE BACK OF A SPOON . LET COOL UNTIL IT IS ROOM TEMPERATURE.

9. APPLY THE LEMON CURD IN A THIN LAYER .

10. ARRANGE THE STRAWBERRIES FIRST IN THE OUTER CORNER, FOLLOWED BY THE BLUEBERRIES, RASPBERRIES AND IN THE CENTER THE BLACKBERRIES.

11. BRUSH THE FRUITS AND CORNERS OF DOUGHT WITH THE HONEY GLAZE  AND ENJOY ;)
