FRIED RICE

INGREDIENTS 

INSTRUCTIONS

There are so many variations to this dish if you add chicken is a complete meal, if you take out the honey its vegan... possibilities are endless. 

SERVES 2-3

2 CUPS                   DAY OLD RICE ( I use jasmin)

​

1/2 CUP                   GREEN ONION

​

1/2 CUP                   CARROTS 

​

1/2 TSP.                    GRATED GINGER 

 

1 CLOVE                  GRATED GARLIC 

 

1                                   EGG 

 

1/2 CUP                    LETTUCE, KALE OR SPINACH

 

1 TSP.                        TOASTED SESAME OIL     

 

2 TSPS.                      SOY SAUCE 

 

1 TSP.                         OYSTER SAUCE 

 

1 TSP.                          HONEY 

 

1 TSP.                         EEL SAUCE 

1. PREPARE THE MISE EN PLACE .

​

2. SPRAY YOUR PAN WITH NON-STICK SPRAY 

​

3. BEAT THE EGG AND COOK IN ONE THIN LAYER. COOK ON BOTH SIDES (YOU CAN ALSO SCRAMBLE IT IT'S NO BIG DEAL )

REMOVE AND SET ASIDE. 

​

4. STIR FRY CARROTS , GREEN ONIONS, GARLIC AND GINGER  FOR 2-3 MINUTES. 

​

5. ADD THE RICE AND COMBINE WELL WITH THE REST OF THE INGREDIENTS . 

​

6. ADD ALL SAUCES ONE BY ONE AND COMBINING WELL , LEAVING THE HONEY FOR THE END. 

​

7. ADD THE LETUCE AND COMBINE

​

8. ROLL THE EGG LIKE A CIGAR AND SLICE THINLY , LIKE RIBBONS (CHIFFONADE ). 

​

9. TOP THE RICE WITH THE EGG RIBBONS  AND ENJOY;)
