A very common dish in Puerto Rico for parties or family gatherings. Each person has their different touch to  it , here i leave you with mine ;)

INGREDIENTS 

INSTRUCTIONS 

4 CUPS                  JASMINE RICE

4 SLICES               TURKEY BACON 

​

1 MEDIUM             ONION 

​

2 TBLSP.                DEHYDRATED  ONION FLAKES 

​

2 TBLSP.                 BEEF BASE 

​

2 TBLSP.                 GRAPE SEED OIL 

​

1 TBLSP.                  BROWNING SAUCE 

​

4 CUPS                   WATER 

​

SALT                        TO TASTE (HIMALAYAN PINK)

1. SAUTEE IN THE GRAPE SEED OIL THE BACON AND ONION UNTIL TRANSLUCENT .

2. ADD THE ONION FLAKES AND SAUTEE ANOTHER TWO MINUTES.

​

3. ADD THE BEEF BASE UNTIL DISSOLVED. 

 

4. ADD THE RICE AND MIX WELL UNTIL COMBINED .

 

5. ADD THE BROWNING SAUCE

 

6.  ADD WATER AND COVER UNTIL THE WATER HAS EVAPORATED AT MEDIUM HEAT . THEN TURN THE RICE AND COVER AGAIN . REDUCE THE TEMPERATURE TO LOW AND COOK FOR TEM MORE MIN .

7. FLUFF WITH A FORK AND ENJOY .
